In this Magic Quadrant report the analytics and BI platforms available on the market are compared based on their features, usability, and capabilities; and Power BI was a top leader.<\/p>\n<p>Gartner recognized Microsoft\u2019s Power BI as furthest in ability to execute, as well as completeness of vision in the Magic Quadrant for business intelligence (BI) and analytics markets for 2020 above other top competitors: Tableau, Qlik\u2019s Qlik Sense, ThoughtSpot, Oracle\u2019s Analytics Cloud, SAP\u2019s Analytics Cloud and SAS\u2019s Visual Analytics.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 3588px;\" src=\"https:\/\/3cloudsolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2020-Magic-Quadrant-1.jpg\" alt=\"2020 Magic Quadrant\" width=\"3588\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>No longer are ABI platforms differentiated by their data visualization capabilities. Instead, organizations are looking for integrated support for enterprise reporting capabilities to help them modernize their enterprise reporting needs.<\/p>\n<p>Another key differentiating factor is augmented analytics \u2013 using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted data preparation, insight generation and insight explanation to augment how businesses and analysts explore and analyze data.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft covers the bases of what businesses are looking for in data preparation, visual-based data discovery, interactive dashboards and augmented analytics in Power BI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gartner listed Microsoft\u2019s strengths as:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>\u201cViral\u201d Spread<\/strong><\/em><\/span> \u2013 Power BI\u2019s inclusion in Office365 E5 and prompts in other Microsoft products like Excel encourages users to \u2018visualize in Power BI\u2019 increasing its exposure throughout organizations. Power BI\u2019s reference customers claimed more deployments with more than 1,000 users than those of any other vendor in the Magic Quadrant.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>Product capabilities<\/strong><\/em><\/span> \u2013 Power BI Pro cloud service overtook most of its competitors in terms of functionality with the inclusion of innovative capabilities for augmented analytics and automated ML. AI-powered services, such as text, sentiment and image analytics are also available and draw on Azure capabilities.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>Comprehensiveness of product vision<\/strong><\/em><\/span> \u2013 Microsoft continues to invest in a broad set of visionary capabilities and to integrate them with Power BI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Microsoft\u2019s Power BI has been distinguished as a best-in-class BI and analytics solution for more than a decade because of its easy-to-use tools, positive sales experience and a comprehensive product roadmap.
