I&#8217;m a professional in this space, and I truly believe that I live in it every day, whether this change initiative is culture, new technology, or a change in the business model. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">So, I&#8217;ll just say, specifically for culture and moving to a more data-driven culture that empowers employees to seek out insights for performance and continuous learning. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">You must\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">start fast with proven tools<\/span><strong><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\">data.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0But\u00a0(of course)\u00a0with caution.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We&#8217;ve all heard the sandbox before. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Create\u00a0a sandbox<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, create a team dedicated to providing feedback of what&#8217;s being done; that sandbox should be a vicious and fun cycle.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Prepare\u00a0managers<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Within a sandbox, folks are going to be asked to do something new and different. Prepare them to be creative and add fuel to that fire.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Set realistic expectations about how it would all unfold. This will be your new set of toys. This is how you will use them and how much time you get to play each week. And if you have questions, this is how you get help. That&#8217;s how your managers help those fuel in the fire.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Take it one step farther\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">stand up a centralized\u00a0self-containing\u00a0playground of sorts<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Not sure how many people out there use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or whatever collaborative tool\u00a0you have in-house, but create a playground in\u00a0a central location where all can go and seek the power they need to get started.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">And if you want to really have some fun, think back to the teaming slide, and create a game in which teams can be formed, and problem statements can be shared, and solutions can be driven.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Have these presented publicly and announce reward a winner, a team of winners, something that&#8217;s going to get others going and say, \u201cHey, me, too. That was cool. I want to be part of that team.\u201d\u00a0Those are big motivators that give the power to enable and let them run wild.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Celebrating in a Digital Workspace<\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Driver six,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">celebration<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, celebrating is one of the most, if not the most impactful and\u00a0cost-effective\u00a0ways to motivate.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">You tell people,\u00a0\u201cIt&#8217;s okay to explore,\u201d you motivate them with the help of crazy excited people, the champions we talked about. Of course, you give them power; you start tackling the impossible,\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">then<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0you party, when gains are made, yes, party, celebrate. And then rinse and repeat.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At your next all-hands meeting or Town Hall, be sure to showcase the incremental gains of\u00a0the\u00a0problem you&#8217;re trying to solve.\u00a0<\/span><strong><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">End\u00a0gains\u00a0happen\u00a0because of the people\u00a0who\u00a0are\u00a0committed to solving tough problems with their new insights, which were driven by data and analytics.<\/span><\/i><\/strong><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I mean, this may sound ludicrous. I don&#8217;t know your organization, but have your CEO or most executive leader; you have access to fire up the crowd and send a personal note to the team.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Maybe you send balloons or provide a pizza party.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">But you know, nothing should get in your way of celebrating. And yes, this can be done virtually as well.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Uber Eats vouchers and miscellaneous delivery services can make it all possible.
